response to NO HOMEWORK in Alberta

I do not like the idea of no home work. It bugs me that parents would sigh a contract banning homework assigned to their children.

I don't think I would gain or lose from a Homework ban because I only do homework when I don't completely understand something.

I don't think i would learn enough if they banned homework because if I didn't understand something, and i could take a practise home, it would really hurt my marks.

Depending on the work load of the day sometimes I do have time to finish and some times I don't

It does not matter the subject in my oppinion, homework is homework.

11!=11x10x9x8x7x6x5x4x3x2x1
i understood this stuff

more logs

today we did some examples of exponential growth functions / decay.
continuous compound interest
law of natural growth
law of natural decay

natural logarithms

Loge = l n

logarithmic functions

logarithmic functions are the inverse of exponential functions.

the inverse of y = 2^x is x = 2^y witch is y =log2x

Yet another workperiod (due to our new, messed up way of earli dismissal)

in today's class of November 3rd, 2009, we were given a work period because we only have a 40 minute class. we all know that 40 minutes, by the time we get started wont be enough time to learn anything new, so use your time wisely.

exponential functions vs.logarithmic functions

today we learned exponential functions. here is the basis for the function

f(x)=a times b^x

a is your y intercept
